Transit was a file listing script that I previously developed. It featured a Tango colour scheme based design, made use of Tango icons (from freedesktop.org), and included many useful tools, such as:
- AJAX file browsing
- Breadcrumb Bar
- Text Editor
- Gallery
- Image Browser with thumbnail generation
- Support for icons for various file types
- Support for restricted access, using user accounts controlled by a MySQL backend
- The ability to delete, move and upload files
- A tree view
Unfortunately Transit has, as of December 23rd 2008, been discontinued. If you are interested in using Transit in your own website, please contact the developer for a quote.
