End User License Agreement
Preface
'Software' refers to the web application in question (known as "Transit"), and specifically, version 1.0.0 of Transit.
'Source code' refers to all of the files which are provided to you once you receive the software (located in a Zip Archive).
'Developer' refers to the developer of the software (Steven McTainsh).
The Tango Icon Set is not created the developer, and thus not covered by this license agreement. They are licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License. A copy of the terms of the aforementioned license can be found at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/.
By using and/or installing the software you agree to the terms and conditions set out in the following license agreement.
1. Terms of Use
You may use the software for any use, whether it be commercial or personal use. You may not, however, use the software for any illegal purposes. You are permitted to install your copy of Transit on one server, in one folder at any one time. This license must always accompany this copy of Transit.
2. Modification
You may not modify the software in any way (with the exception of the points listed below). In the event that modifications are required (except those mentioned below), the developer should be contacted to discuss options. The following modifications are permitted, however:
- Changing the user interface of the software by modifying the cascading style sheet associated with the software - any references to the images 'logo.png', 'logosmall.png' and 'watermark.png' must not be removed or altered so that they are no longer visible in the software.
- Replacing the images used within the theme (those images located within the /resources directory), with the exception of the software logo (the files named 'logo.png', 'logosmall.png' and 'watermark.png').
The source code of the software must not be modified (with the exception of the above permitted modifications), reused in any other software application (web or otherwise), or misrepresented as your own code. The developer of the software reserves the right to request that any modifications made to the source code be removed in their entirety, if discovered. You agree to adhere to this request if made.
3. Distribution
You are not permitted to distribute the software in any way or form. Any modifications made must also not be distributed, including those mentioned in section 2, Modification. Permitted modifications made are for your own personal use, or the use of the organisation for which you work only.
4. Liability
The developer of the software is not liable for any damage incurred as a direct result or indirect result of your use of the software. You agree not to hold the developer responsible for any damage incurred.
The developer reserves the right to modify any of the terms of this license agreement.
If you accept the above terms and conditions, you may use the software. If you do not, then you must discontinue use of this software. If you continue use of this software, you are bound to these terms and conditions.
